Senate District 65 Republicans announce that they have a full slate of Minnesota House candidates.
District 65A: Monique Giordana filed to represent House District 65a, currently represented by Rena Moran.
Giordana, an oncology pharmaist, would if elected be one of the foremost experts on healthcare in the Legislature. Giordana graduated from the University of Minnesota with a Doctor of Pharmacy and went on to complete additional education and training by completing a general pharmacy residency at the VA North Texas Healthcare Center and a Hematology/Oncology specialty pharmacy residency at Mayo Clinic, Rochester, Minnesota. She is a board-certified oncology pharmacist.
Giordana ran for the seat in 2016.
Giordana and her husband welcomed a baby boy in the past six months, who will be a welcome addition on the campaign trail.
District 65B: Margaret Mary Stokely filed to run for the seat in 65B, representing the south half of the district.
Stokely has spent lifetime of activism fighting for traditional American values and ideals. She says “our campaign is focused on increasing GOP voters and spreading the appeal of GOP values. In addition we are encouraging people to get involved in working their precincts and becoming active on whatever front they choose. Much is at stake.”
“SD65 and specifically HD65B encompasses the Capital of MN and our campaign is devoted to making HD65B and BPOU the model of organization and activism. A vision I pray that you embrace wholeheartedly.”
Stokely ran for the seat, held at the moment by Carlos Mariani, in 2016.
